| Addressing issues such as excessive vibration, high power consumption, prolonged roller lifting time, and frequent hydraulic system failures during the operation of a raw material vertical mill, this paper investigates a retrofit solution employing a backpressure hydraulic system. The modifications include adopting a two-supply, four-roller configuration, integrating cylinder backpressure accumulators for cushioning, and installing in-line filtration devices in the piping. These improvements significantly enhance the system's buffering capacity and oil cleanliness. Post-retrofit results show a 30% reduction in mill vibration and a 10A decrease in the average main motor current, achieving both energy savings and enhanced operational stability. This paper elaborates on the retrofit, principles, and outcomes, serving as a reference for optimizing similar equipment. |
