| To address the conflict between the development of the mining economy in the southern part of Guichi District, Chizhou City, and the pressure on road transportation, the Guichi District Public Mineral Product Transportation Corridor Project, in its key C3 section underpassing the Qiupu River, pioneered the application of shield tunneling in the field of long-distance belt conveyor transportation corridors. This paper systematically elaborates on the design scheme, key on-site construction techniques, and innovative practical achievements of the shield tunneling method in this project. The 852-meter shield tunneling section was successfully completed in 124 d, demonstrating the comprehensive advantages of the shield tunneling method in transportation corridor projects, including environmental protection, construction efficiency, and structural safety. This provides valuable practical experience for cross-industry applications. |
