| The article introduces several typical cases of mill overfilling failures. By analyzing the causes of mill overfilling, including issues such as moisture content of the feed material, gradation of grinding media, material-to-ball ratio inside the mill, and system operational parameters, it discusses solutions to address the overfilling problem. In production, it is essential to strengthen the management of desulfurized gypsum raw materials by avoiding direct feeding into the mill head, appropriately increasing the filling rate of grinding media in the first chamber, adjusting the grate openings of the internal mill diaphragm and the size of the discharge grate, enhancing the material flow rate inside the mill to improve grinding efficiency, and increasing the negative pressure within the mill. |
