Our company employs a combined grinding system consisting of a Φ1,500 mm × 1,000 mm roller press and a Ф3.8 m × 13 m closed-circuit ball mill for cement grinding. Since its commissioning in 2011, the system has consistently performed poorly, failing to meet production targets while exhibiting high energy consumption in the cement process. This article outlines the energy-saving technical modifications made to the cement grinding system, which included transforming the double closed-circuit production system into a semi-final grinding system, adding a bucket elevator to lift the feed material into the mill, incorporating a high-efficiency separator with tertiary air, and modifying the internal components of the mill. Following these upgrades, the dust circulation within the system was significantly reduced, the mill's output increased, and energy consumption decreased markedly, resulting in substantial economic benefits. |
