| This paper introduces the key sources and emission calculations of CO2 in cement production.The main sources of CO2 emissions are carbonate decomposition and the ingredients of raw material，fuel combustion and indirect emissions. This paper discusses the ways of reducing carbon, mainly by improving the energy efficiency, using alternative fuels, clinker substitutes, reducing the amount of cement and carbon capture and storage technology. |
